Congrats Vivek!

Small remark though: I'm not sure that first questions weigh more than the rest; a lot of people believe the opposite... Long debate though.

yeah i never had to use the comb/perm formulas. I had to reason out a couple of probability questions, but they didn't involve any large numbers and were easy enough to do by brute force.

Like I said 2-3 probability questions, one of them involved using combinations to figure out probability. Pretty straightfoward though.. DS questions were definitely harder.. If I were little bit more calmer I could have done better..

congratulations!

can you tell me how the club challenges compared to the math you encountered while scoring Q48 on the real deal?

Gmat challenges were very useful and expose you to a lot of different type of questions. Once you do 10 or so there is definite pattern that you can identify. I felt that with Gmatprep and more so in actual one there were some questions which catch you off guard. Be mindful of that and be prepared to move on the next one in 3 minutes (there are some PS that you can solve in 30 seconds). On a scale of 1-10 if club challenges were 10, GMAT prep would be a 7.5 and actual test would be a 8 with a few questions (<5) at 11.

You should be able to get 47-51 if you do consistently well on the club challenges. Stay away from Manhattan math tests, they are demoraliznig.
