I took the PR CAT 1 yesterday and scored a 640- that is disappointing, because my last GMAT prep CAT was a 760.
I'm at the point in my prep where I am starting to run out of questions, and I just really want to solidify my skills in the medium range questions, so that I avoid pitfalls and bad mistakes (arithmetic errors cost me 4 questions on yesterday's CAT).
I've been through all of the quant in the OG, save for the last 15 PS, which I plan to do today. I also plan on taking the second GMAT prep CAT tomorrow at the same time I take the test on Tuesday. Monday I was planning on taking it easy and just doing some of the topical Kaplan math quizzes I have left.
I've already taken both GMAT prep cats in the past, but it was about 2 months ago. Ive reinstalled the software so hopefully I will get fresh questions the second time around on CAT 2. OR, I could take a Kaplan CAT (I have like 3 left but I hate them) that I've never seen before.
I am most worried about my quant score- but really want to make sure I nail the Verbal (which I have historically done 90%+ on). How do you advise I make the best of my last three days of prep? CATs? Quizbank? GMATPrep?

Relax dude,
frm what I have heard no test except GmatPrep is truely accurate. Also maybe you had an off day at the office yesterday.
I have done a couple of tests during weekdays after work and I have performed far far lower in them compared to the ones I do in teh weekend.
So tomorrow's test should be betterfor you. Also even if you do encounter a familiar question in GMATPrep, just do it, even if you know choice X is the answer. This will mean your thought process will get a regrooming and you will also eat a few seconds, thereby simulating the exam a bit better.

Don't do any more tests. Why take the chance and dent your confidence further. It's a terrible idea to take a PR test after a GMATPrep, mainly because PR and all other mock CAT's are so much less reliable than GMATPrep in predicting your final GMAT performance. If you managed a 760 on your GMATPrep without getting any repeated questions, you're all set for test day.
Just review the kind of questions you've been getting wrong. On the final day, review some AWA templates and do nothing else! Get a good night's sleep.
