Anyone who has taken the real GMAT have any input on whether they thought the real test was more difficult than the GMATPrep practice tests? If so, what about it would you say is harder? Did you score worse than on your practice tests?
I ended up scoring about the same, but I found the questions more challenging on the real GMAT. By that I mean that I really had to stay focused and on my toes throughout the real exam - it wasn't necessarily that the questions were fiendishly difficult, but many of them were classic GMAT "trap" questions...and the traps were not very obvious. That being said, if you are solid in your fundamentals, you can handle whatever the real test throws at you. It is simply a much more taxing experience than the GMATprep tests. Most people on this board ended up scoring within 20 points of their results on GMATprep, if that's any help.
