I'm preparing for the GMAT since about a month but not really intensively (let's say 30min two or three times a week, sometimes 2hours the Week end). To evaluate my level, I took the Kaplan diagnostic 1 month ago and a Kaplan paper test 2 weeks ago. Both gave me 650 (Q48, V arond 34). I took Gmat Prep 1 yesterday before starting my real preparation and I was pretty happy to score 690.
Q: 49 and V: 35.
I didn't work at all the quant section, so 49 seems to be a good score. My goal is to make a "perfect" score in maths; I'm sure it's possible

But as a non native speaker, I have big difficulties to improve my verbal skills. 35 is really weak as I want/need to score around 730/750. (mostly to make forget my weak GPA (not bad for a French student, but really weak compared to Americans)).
Do you think that 2 months of preparation (1 hour every day and 2/3 hours Saturday and Sunday, plus a full time week before the exam) will be enough to go from 35 to 41/42 in verbal section ?
I think I should work 80% of my time on verbal and the rest on math: is it a good idea ?
How much time do you think I should spend working for AWA ? Do you think answering 2 AWA questions per week would be enough to get a score of 4/4.5 ?
=>Should I take the exam around April 15th or should I wait and take it in may ?
Thank's for your advises!
