I am working my way through the OG with the
MGMAT SC book. I am doing quite well with the answers, but as I read the explanations I generally do not understand the reasoning. Is it much more beneficial to be familiar with the technical reasons why this sentence does not work? Should I be saying in my head that answer B is incorrect because it begins with a prepositional phrase, etc.? I find myself just saying that this sentence doesn't sound right and move on. I realize that with more practice I will recognize this sentence as an idiom problem or that one as parrallelism, but what about the grammer, should I be able to recognized that this word is improperly modifying that noun, etc?
Also, I am trying to bring my verbal up from a 38.
