With two weeks to go, my verbal scores have increased from a 38-40 range to a 42-44 range. When I run through my 41 question OG11/Verbal Review sets (which contain only the second half of the questions) I'm commonly missing about 3-5. With that said, I still recognize the need for improvement on the Quantitative side. At this point, I feel pretty strong conceptually, but can't seem to improve on my 46-48 score range. My last GMATPrep score was a 49, but I saw a few repeats and missed 12 questions.

Would it be best to continue to focus on the OG11/Quant Review official questions, reviewing the questions I miss and ensuring I know how to quickly (and correctly) answer them? Or, would you recommend I focus more on the GMATClub Challenges? I'm hesitant to do the latter, since they aren't usually written in the same manner as the official Qs. But, there's something to be said of working with problems consistently harder than I may face on the exam.

Thanks

You are a smart guy...so only thing I would say is ....finish as many Challenges as you can and repeat GMATPrep as many times as you can. (assume here that you are done with OGs and other basic prep you need)

Thanks for the feedback. So you recommend I finish the Quant Review problems first, and then do the GMATClub Challenges? I am projecting to complete the Quant Review questions by the end of this week. That would leave be one week to go through the Challenges. Would it be wise to really start beating myself down (since those quant problems are so difficult) the week before the test? The other alternative is to keep re-doing the missed problems I've worked before, and re-taking GMATPreps.

Dont leave Challenges towards the end....what will Challenges do for you is sharpen your thinking and keep you humble. Dont expect to ace them then you wont be worried about outcome...but in any case last few days of prep...avoid anything that may lower your confidence...I would suggest do Challenges next few days then focus on doing OG missed ones and then keep on hammering GMATPreps. But thats just my opinion...tune your strategy as you go...good luck..kick a$$. :)

Try some challenges. Devote more time to them - as in - go into one with a fresh mind. After completing one, see how many silly errors you've made (esp ones that include not reading the question properly). Also see the thought process behind solving the problems QUICKLY.

But once you're closer to d-day retake gmat preps.
