Hello,
I just decided to take the GMAT sometime in July. I need some advice on how to study for it. I am putting an average of 7 hrs./day and i want to score 650 and up. I already bought the Math and Verbal Kaplan books. Do u think 7hrs/day for a month and a half will be enough for me to get the score i want. Should i start with the math book and finish it all and then move to the verbal or should i do a chapter of each?? Any advice will be appreciated.

take a power prep test and that will give you some ideas where you stand and what needs to be done. Search for esnips.com for power prep software or ask around!

Welcome to the site. My advice to you would be to start by identifying your strengths and weaknesses. Then bolster your knowledge of basic concepts by doing practice problems from the OG11. Track your progress by taking full length CATs. Then as you get closer to your test date start to take more practice CATs to help with your concentration and pacing. Participating on the math and verbal forums is also a good way to improve. Check out my GMAT experience if you want to see how I prepared.
