I was curious how many of you high verbal scorers use the "Avoid Extreme Words" strategy when picking RC answer choices???

I dont consider myself a high verbal scorer yet. 
I try to avoid answer choices with words like "most", "some", etc in CR questions. Is this what you mean extreme ?
In assumption type of CR questions I pay attention to choices that have "not" or negatives in them. The CR bible advocates reading these carefully since they can be negated to see if the conclusion is rendered invalid.
I do not apply this to RC but I am curious to know if there is a technique that I am not aware of.

I consistently score in the 45-47 range on verbal (GMATprep) and I rarely use the "extreme word" method.
If I have two questions that I'm having difficulty deciding between, I'll use the extreme word method to eliminate them, if I can.
That's not to say it's not useful, however, I usually eliminate such answers for other reasons (outside the scope, etc).
I think it is a good method. Anytime you see a word that is too broad or extreme, for example:
"the new policy will always result in reduced profits"
"the proposal will protect every endangered bird"
It's usually the wrong answer.
