I took the Manhattan GMAT 9-week in person prep course. I highly recommend it. Their instructors are top notch and they treat their clients like gold. I attribute my quant score almost entirely to Manhattan GMAT. I started out with verbal scores between 32-35 and MGMAT's course pretty much brought it up to a 42.

I received the official score report today. 2 interesting things to note:

I got a 5.5 on AWA (yay, but fairly meaningless).

However, my percentiles were scaled down even further. The amount of high scorers is shooting through the roof, I suppose.

44Q is now a 70th Percentile, 47Q is now 79th percentile, and in order to break 80th percentile, you need a 48Q.

710 is now also a 92nd percentile, and not a 93rd.

Wait, so your official score report differed from your unofficial score report? Is this common?

Can you post the new percentages? At least for the upper ranges?

I think he meant that the percentiles have decreased due to the number of test takers increasing and scoring better on average. I am not sure if the percentiles are given right after the test.

So Terp, what are your plans now?

I just took the test on Monday, and my unofficial report had percentiles on it. But maybe I'm misunderstanding something about the unofficial report?
