Greetings Everyone,

I am planning to write my GMAT end of JUNE 09 - (yes i know its a bit too early to ask but cant help it)..

I wanted to know - given the fact that I am not too strong Quantative section and O.K in Verbal... is it possible for one to prepare himself for the GMAT in 1.5 months - given he is starting from scratch and is studying 5-6 hours everyday?

Yes. I went from 540 on my first practice test to 740 on my last practice test.....I studied much less than 5 hours a day, and it was for about 1.5 months. I ended up with 700 on the actual test (nerves got to me). Its doable!

Sure you can, but it depends on many factors. Although I don't quite understand why you would only have 1.5 months if you are already planning this a year in advance.

well.... its because i will be done with undergrad in may 09... so ill only write it after,.., and not b4..
and im writing CFA level 1 exam Dec 09.... so i was thinking or giving GMAT a shot... by studying 1.5 months..... half of May and fuill of June..

I studied for 2-3 hours a day for a month and scored a 770 so yes it is possible.
