I took a bit of a hiatus from the board and have just been honing down on practicing CATs and
Gmatclub tests, but was wondering if anyone shared this experience. The PR cats seem pretty easy in comparison to gmatprep. GmatPrep is obviously the most accurate and like the real thing, and the powerprep seems pretty useless as I recognize most of the questions from OG11.
MGMAT cats are hard! The more I take them, the more I get used to them, and the better I score. However... I am still not scoring that great, 570, 610, 620, to just now 640. (In comparison to high 600s I score with PR/powerprep/gmatmprep). So at least it is increasing eh? But I feel like their verbal is more difficult as well, their math is obviously more difficult.
Either way it's all good practice, and I wish I had focused on MGMATs during my first round of studying, it's helping me with at least focusing on my timing, guessing when I have to, and learning more advanced skills.
Hope this helps anyone out there, I have 1 month left, and after that I am going to partay! (Good score or not good score, partying is happening nonetheless).
