I found the following useful in budgeting time in quant and Verbal. I have been using this for a few days.
Write this down on the booklet before the exam

Q: 5:66, 10:56, 15:46, 20:36, 25:26, 30:16, 35:6
V: 5:67, 10:58, 15:49, 20:40, 25:31, 30:22, 35:13, 40:4

Very useful.It slightly differs when you give a little extra time on the first ten questions. :-D

i found this tip in walker's post

any point of time multiply 2 with the number of question you are at and add the remaining minutes...
for Q sum should be greater than 75
for V sum should be greater than 80
