Hello Everyone,

I have just joined this group and have read some of your inspiring posting (i.e. Positive Soul). I'm in a serious dilemma. I've had to retake my GMAT twice and I have one more chance at it next Wed (Aug 27th), before my MBA school cancels my conditional accpetance into the program.

Here's my story:

I took the Kaplan course this winter and I scheduled the GMAT for the first time in March 2008...very disappointing, I only got 430. Then I decided I study harder and took the exam again in May 2008...did even worse, 420. Now, I'm panicking because this is my last try and I don't think I'm near being prepared to retake the GMAT.

I don't know what to do! I feel that the more I study, the worse I do, I'm just really disappointed.

I'd appreciate any advice you can offer me.

Desperately need help!

What is your target score for the conditional acceptance?

What is your target score? Have you given GMATprep CAT test? I suggest you give a GMATprep I or GMATprep II test and see if it comes near to your target score. If your CAT test score is +/- 20 to your target score then you need to be panicked. But if you are 60, 70 or 100 point away then I suggest you seriously think over this matter. And you did not write what was your individual section score and in which section you are doing poor. If you are weak in quant then take OG-10 and OG-11 and only focus on quant section. Similar suggestion goes for verbal section.
