I took the GMAT last April and got a 650. After some analysis I decided to retake, am taking the MGMAT course instead of kaplan, and have taken 2 CAT tests since the class started. On the first one I got a 590, second... a 530!! Worst of all, it felt like I was doing very well on most of the test. I have been studying often, and am not sure what would have caused such a drop in my score. Has anyone had a similar situation and pulled through?

First off, you're assuming that your MGMAT CAT score is representative of what you're going to score on the real thing. If you look around this forum and see other people's posts of their MGMAT CAT scores compared to their real GMAT score, you'll see that the majority of the time, the real score is MUCH higher than the MGMAT score. i'm not sure why Manhattan does this as it really freaks out their students. Oh well. Just keep with the class, and don't worry about your score on their tests. Take a GMATPrep test when you complete the course. That will be a much better indication as to where you stand. I took got a 650 last April. I retook the end of July and got a 720. It can be done!
