Hi, Looks like someone is facing the same problem. :?

This was my first attempt. I got a 600 (q47v27). I am amazed that I got a really low verbal score. I didn't score so low in any of the MGMATs or the GMAT Prep. I was usually in the range of 650 to 680. I was near my target in quants, but failed miserably in verbal. I scored somewhere around 36 in verbal section on all of the practice tests.

Maybe I got exhausted by the time I reached verbal. I never practiced any of the tests along with AWA. But I dont want to blame anyone but myself for this.

guys, has verbal become really tough compared to the practice tests..???

Honestly, you should practice with the AWAs. It's the only way to build up the mental stamina to make it through the verbal. Do a test every weekend, you'll get there.

I think you are right. In one of the test I took the math and verbal sections separately and found that my score had jumped to 730 and this was one of the tests I gave before I started preparing.

This was pretty weird. It was my bad.. I should have taken a lesson from it and practiced with the AWAs to see my concentration levels near the end of the exam. Well... lets see... I should definitely take another exam..
