Hi guys,
After harboring MBA fantasies for a while and buying the OG11 over a year ago I decided that it's time to take a proper stab at the test. When I first bought the guide I took the Quant Diagnostic Test and did reasonably well, but I misplaced the results. I dropped it for a year and just decided to take a new stab at things.
Anyways, I went through the GmatPrep instructions and just took the test to get a judge on performance. I did a bit of guessing and thought I'd end up sub 700, but wasn't too disappointed with my score - 720(Q48,V41). A few guesses were lucky but I'm sure with some practice I could improve, especially as I rushed the last few verbals.
After reviewing my mistakes I noticed that I got the 1st, 3rd, 5th, and 6th math questions wrong (then 17, 18, 20, 29, 33, 37, for a total of 10.)
Are the early questions as important as they say? Is the payoff for spending time on early questions really that significant?
