Needless to say after studying on average of 20 hours/w for 12 weeks, and taking a Veritas Prep Class I was very dissapointed to get only 20 points higher than my baseline exam. A month before the the Exam I was getting 700-720 on Vertias and 800 score practice tests. The week before the Exam I got a 740 on the Offical GMAT 2nd practice Exam.
What happened: Going into the Quant section it seems I got ALLL number property questions which I hardly got in my practice material-- I did very bad on it, it was like I was taking a totally differnt exam then the one I studied for.
My verbal weakness despite hundresds of questions is Sentenance correction.. I hardly ever miss any thing else other than SC on practice exams, but seem to miss 8-9 SC questions and 1-2 of everything else!
What i am doing now is going to focus on MGMAT material for both number properties and SC... will let everyone know how that goes and open to any other advice!
