Thanks... i do believe GMAT is just the starting step of the entire process but a good GMAT score definitely gives a edge going into the application process.
I'm targeting the European schools(LBS,INSEAD,HEC) and will apply by 2010.

diagnostic: 550(Q47,V28) :?:
Gmatprep1: 660(Q47,V35)
Gmatpep2 : 680(Q49,V34)

MGMAT 1: 670(Q49, V31)
MGMAT : 710(Q 49,V38)
MGMAT 3: 730(Q49,V41)

Gmatprep 1:690(Q47,V36)
Gmatprep2:740(Q50,v 41)

Please provide tips on how i can improve my verbal score or any direction in that regard.
I know plenty of guys here have retaken the GMAT and come out with flying scores in Verbal.

hey Prasun,
Congratulation for a good score especially 51 in Quant. But I am afraid that if you are apply by 2010 then some business schools ask for a fresh GMAT score. So keep an eye on that factor. For verbal so far I have heard from lot of verbal guru that for SC, Manhattan SC is the bible. And for CR, Powerscore CR bible is the best one that i have come across. For RC it all depends on practice. So start practicing RC from good resources that you do come across.

Hey Prasun

I fall into same category as yours. But, I have observed CR falls in place with practice, which I have given in. I am much better in CR now. Try to finish CR 1000 doc + CR Bible. It will be enough to kill it

As far as RC is concerned, it is a nemesis for me also. I am struggling with it and will try my best till my exam. It all depends on the concentration. So better to have as much concentration on passage while reading. Try not to put up things on paper. Do atleast 5 RCs daily from RC 1000 doc.

BOL.

I think you should try to apply to some colleges. Atleast one in your reach and one out of your reach. It will give you good exposure to whole application cycle. Moreover, your score is above par for some univs.

Great score!

Ur quant is amazing and since u r not a native speaker then have nothin to worry about, they dont expect high verbal scores from non-natives

Awesome Quant score!
Did you use any additional resources (besides the one you mentioned) to study Quant?

Not really...i made sure i did all OG problems twice:-once with multiple approaches to the same problem and second under timed conditions.
My tip :acquaint urself in spotting the usual traps in DS questions and know your shortcuts well for PS.formulas help a lot as long as you are aware of their applications.fine-tuning your own techniques,IMO, is the way to go in quant.

Thanks.
But my verbal is 68%ile and i belive that schools lay more emphasis on a balanced score although a few are happy with good quant scores(oxford for example).
