My theory is that most people who participate in GMATclub are over achievers, who have a history of above average academic/test taking success and intellect.
Therefore, the scores, test experiences, etc might not be a true reflection of what is capable to the average individual...that not just anyone can work hard, do challanges, standard CATS regiment, etc...and score in the 700s...that GMATclub is not a good sample set or reality.

I think without a doubt that is true. I was kind of freaked with all the talk of how you need over 700. The day I took my test, most people were talking about trying to get mid-600s. It was kind of nice, it put me at ease. The average score is much lower than you would think by visiting here. I think it was around 550 at the time I took it. Obviously if you want one of the top schools, you still need the high score though.
