I just came back from the center. I screwed up royally in verbal. I am a very nervous test taker and during the exam I thought I did bad in math. I decided to make sure that I got the first 10 questions right in verbal. I turned off the clock. I took too much time on SC and spent a lot of time on the first RC. When I finished question 22, I clicked on the clock again and saw only 10 minutes left, "WHAT". I ended up not reading the last two RC passages and tried to answer questions by just reading questions. I also also could not read two critical reasoning passages. Probably, this is my worst effort ever. I took many timed practice tests 6 MGMAT, 4 PR, 4 Kaplan, 2GMAT Prep (each 8 times). I always completed by verbal and never had a situation this bad. I only struggled to complete verbal on my first GMAT prep attempt, but nothing like this. I have to point out though that I got exactly the same score on my first GMAT prep attempt.
My target is 650-680 and I want to retake. Can you please advise what is the recommended minimum amount of time I should retake? Is 30 days enough? I think I need to improve my speed on RC. Any tips will be much appreciated. Also, I come from a non English speaking country. I never had a good reading habit which might be the biggest reason why I struggle with speed reading in RC.
I studied for 5 months. I used Kaplan, PR, OA guide, OA quant and verbal books, MGMAT sentence correction, CR Bible and Barron's.

I am a strong believer in reading - never was a big reader myself, but the GMAT prep turned me into a book fan - there are so many good ones; definitely recommend you visit one of your local stores and pick something up - reading and immersing yourself into a "proper" english environment is key. The best part is that if you pick up a good book, it wont' even feel like you are studying! That will get your mind off gmat too and will have less tendency to drive you crazy. Reading helps with RC's but also with SC's since your ear will be getting trained now in proper sentence structure and vocab.
In terms of books, I am not sure what else to recommend. You seemed to have covered most of them - take a look here - best-gmat-prep-books-recommendations-74310.html maybe something will jump out.
What is your strategy right now?

I totally agree that I need to improve my reading habits to improve reading comprehension. However, this will take more than a month. I want to take this test no later again no later than 60 days. Is it not advisable to attempt it in the next 60 days?
Since I took each GMAT prep eight times, I was scoring consistenly between 730 and 770 after the first four attempts. Obviously, you cannot rely on this score because you have seen most of the questions. This is specially true for verbal where I struggled the most. But I was hoping to reach the target of minimum 650.
Now that my confidence is shattered, I am not sure if I can reach 650 within the next 60 days. Is there anybody who has done this? Can you let me know what other books to use and what other CATS to take? The books I have not gone through for verbal are Kaplan verbal and MGMAT reading comprehension. Should I get these? Sorry if am bothering anybody by asking too many questions.

That's quit a book for starters but a great price per page. I hope you enjoy it - many people do.
