Hi everybody. Just came from the test center-
math 48(87%), verbal 38(85%) overall 690(92%) . I'm surprised that with these individual scores I didn't get more than 690.

This is not to say that I'm not satisfied with my score but it seems that ETS values math score more than verbal. My friend's individual scores were 51-math and 33-verbal and he got 690 as well even though 3 points difference in our math scores was more than compensated by 5 points difference in verbal. Now about the test.
Math was quite tricky. Lots of DS questions several with statistics and probability. A couple of questions from coordinate geometry. Many questions with long word problems. The level of difficulty rises very quickly and one can expect difficult questions from the very begining. I got bogged down on one question and am sure that all of the answer choices were wrong. That blody question cost me valuable 7-8 minutes. Sometimes difficult questions were followed by very easy ones and I used to panick, but these easy questions most probably were experimental.
Verbal was not that hard. Quite easy SC and CR questions. One so called bold face CR but easy as well. I have to confess though that RC was not easy and I got two passages in succession. Overall, verbal was easier than I expected. At the end of the test I thought my verbal would not be more than 34.
