Hi,
I just took my Gmat and finished with 640 (Q-42, V-37).. not very happy but thinking if i should do it again. My profile is quite decent.. having started a company when i college.. and it ran a little more than a year.. and then we had to close. i have had around 4yrs of sales and BD exp.
Am planning to apply for UK Uni's, ISB India and some Singapore Uni's. What are my chances?

Also consider the Pro's and Con's of investing more time into prep and possibly using it for Essays and Applications.
Take a look at the school profiles for the programs you are applying to and see what average scores they have. If you are considerably below, then yes.
The answer also depends on how much time you invested - if 6 months, then no. If 1 month, then yes. Anyway - you get as much as you invest.

I'm not an expert, but this is my view.
It depends on many variables, but the most important if YOU ARE comfortable with the score. Which schools in UK,Singapore are you applying to? What's the avg GMAT score they consider? Do you think your GPA/essays/recos can offset 640? What's the % acceptance with xxx GMAT score (some schools provide this info)? Some questions which can help you analyze better.
For ISB, I think 700+ should be safe (since you have 4yrs experience). If I were you, I'd give it another shot. UNLESS, I've no time.
