I am asking this question becos i am so used to my mechanical pencil and pens that i hate the concept of using ordinary pencils.....just wanted to clarify

Cheers
Ash

ah! you will get the regular HB 2 pencil (with nothing to sharpen it :) .
that 's the way ETS has designed it... alas!

I am sure, under the pressure of completing the exam, you won't even think of what material stuff you have.

enjoy!

Don't feel bad about your pencil concern. I practiced with my Cross mechanical pencil and had to quickly re-adjust to wooden pencils on test day. By the time I finished with quant, the pencil type was clearly the farthest thing from my mind.

i always ask them for about 6-10 pencils when I take the test. I can't stand that they wear down, but they will give you a bunch to use.
