Hi all,
this is the third time i am taking GMAT without preperation. previous 2 times, took it wothout prep and got shameful scores of 570 an 590 respectively. I am writing it again in next 10 days. I have taken leave for this time and my scores have been as follows:
GMAC1- 620
MGMAT1- 610
MGMAT2- 590
MGAMT3- 600
MGMAT4- 520
i am not asking for too much.. just need a 650 plus score...
i hope its doable in next 1 weeks time... my scores are very low in verbal because of CR and SC and quant ranges between 40 to 45 ....
i have been preparing for last 3 weeks and now its my time to sprint.
Help!! Pls help!
I will say something here that you may not like to hear, but I think I must say what I feel is the right thing to do.
Since you have already taken the GMAT twice, you do not want to take a fourth time in case you miss your target the third time. I'm not saying you cannot 'swing' a 650 the next time you take it, but unless you are consistently hitting that range, taking another shot is almost like shooting in the dark. The pressure might just get the better of you.
Here's my 2 cents:
#1: Postpone the date to give you at least 3-4 weeks.
#2: Sit down and analyze where your weaknesses are. The scores you put down, can only allow one to guess what your Quant & verbal score might be.
#3: Now say, you were getting a 47-50 in quant but a sub-35 in verbal, then you can might 'swing' it in 10 days, if you focus on verbal.
