Kaplan tests scoring

Question

Hi,

I just tried Kaplan CAT test 1 math section. In verbal i blindly selected 4 answers (all wrong) and then ended the test. I got 6 incorrect in math and it still gave me a score of 50? Is that possible. 31 correct and 6 wrong and a score of 50. In verbal it gave a score of 8 (since i didnt really attempt that section). The total score came out to be 470. Is it strange to get 50 despite 6 incorrect answers in kaplan?

tough one to answer. you can call kaplan customer service and try to talk to them. guys, does anyone know about this?

i got only 30 correct out of 37.but still managed to get 50.

one more-- only 16 out of 41 right and got 33 in verbal in kaplan

i don't know internal calculations.
