Congrats Nishant! Good improvement in short amount of time. What were your practice scores like? What contributed the most to push couple of points in both sections in second attempt?

For me it was all about just being mindful...as simple as that. I knew it even the first time that I screwed up two math questions as soon as I clicked the answer buttons.

Anyway -- the practice scores were as follows:
GMATPrep Test 1 -- 710
GMATPrep Test 2 -- 730
GMATPrep Test 1 (second attempt) -- 760 (around 4-5 repeated questions in each section)
GMATPrep Test 2 (second attempt) -- 760 (around 4-5 repeated questions in each section)

Hope that helps.

Gee thanks for that! :)

I know a 700 is good, but there are personal reasons why I titled my thread the way I did. Congratulations on your score.

its up to the individual.

i would love to get that 750 gmat score so as to pull up other weaker parts of my application.. esp if i have to compete with the other outstanding applicants to try to get into the top schools...

and also, for applicants with high gmat scores, imo, the chance of landing a sizeable scholarship will be greatly increased!

Inspiring post! I have little time to spare (other things to worry about) and need a 50+ improvement. I see it's doable  Congrats!!!

P.S.: not a GMAT junkie myself, but I do respect the masters :pray lol
