Not happy, was hoping for low 700s. Did worse in Quant than expected - 46 Q, V 38, AWA 5.5. I think a reattempt will help. Was psyched during Quant, should've kept the nerves calm. Didnt sleep well last night too - probably that contributed.
Anyways - here's my story.
38 years old, two kids in elementary/middle school, wife works, I work on a high stress job for a Fortune 100 company. Decided to do either a MIS/MBA in Sep'09 (fear of losing tuition remib benefits to the souring economy).
October 3 the OE 12th arrived. Thats the only book I used. Went thru it all once, next time redid all the wrong answers. Answered all free tests I could find - Princeton, Kaplan, Veritas, Knewton (the only test I scored low), Manhattan and the two Prep tests. Finding 4 contiguous uninterrupted hours for a test was always a challenge for a middle aged guy like me - had to take time off from work each time I gave a test. (Did most of the OE by waking up before wifey and kids).
Anyways - about 11 weeks later here I am. With my score - I dont think Kellogs or Booth will work out (I live in IL). MBA from other schools in vicinity dont give much bang. I am heading for a good MIS degree at UIC/UIS.
