Hi everybody,
I took the gmat for the second time a few days ago, and I got a 720(51Q, 35V). The first time I got 680 (47Q,36V) after two weeks of preparation, mainly OG. After that I bought both Kaplan Gmat 2004 and Gmat Verbal Workbook, and I did OG entirely.
In my opinion, OG isn't enough if you want to score 700+, but the practice made me stop doing stupid mistakes. I think the most important is to take full tests at the same hour as the actual test. I failed to do that, and as a result my verbal score actually went down, which is a little disappointing knowing that I scored 770 and 740 on Kaplan tests. I really hope that the schools I'm applying to won't consider this a big problem.

Congrats. It is amazing how you improved your quamt score from good 47 to amazing 51! It is quite rare. Can you tell us what you did to achieve 51 in quant second time?.
Your kaplan scores were amazing. I havent seen people scoring that high.. with these scores you should have scored 750 in real test. Anyhow, you have done great.
