Hi,

I'm afraid there's nothing to tell, it wasn't really an improvement, my low first time quant score was due to a system of equations with all the answers wrong.
By the way, has anybody else had an experience like that?
I wasn't prepared for such a thing, so I spent 7-8 minutes solving the system over and over again. Finally, I chosed one of the answers, and I had to guess on the last four quant questions.
The second time I finished the quant section with 5 minutes to spare, and with the feeling that something went wrong, it had been just too easy. I had several prob questions, also a few combinations and permutations.
For the verbal, I was hardly able to stay awake, but I remember having seen 2 RC passages in the first 15 questions. I also had two bold-face CR questions.
For my preparation, I used Kaplan and OG. Kaplan has more challenging quant problems that OG has. I studied for about two weeks for the first time plus another five weeks for the second time. A piece of advice, schedule your exam at a time of the day when your brain is working at full capacity. Even if I managed to greatly improve my verbal skills in five weeks, schools will never know that :(
If there is something else you wanna know, please don't hesitate.

Cheers,
Lucas
