3) Why MBA ? -
Long story . Once upon a time long long ago but not so long ago, around 29 years back in a city called Bangalore, India - ok let me cut the crap and come to the point.
I wanted to be a politician(yes seriously) or a law grad but my parents never allowed me to be one and if you are an Indian you would know that going against parents wish is a sin which will haunt you all your life. After my 12th, I was forced to apply for Medical school and got admission in the same school as my sis was attending but I never wanted to be a doc, I always felt going to a medical school needed a lot of patience and patience and patience which would eventually lead me to be a patient rather than a doc. So with great difficulty I convinced my family that I am not born to be a doc but something else, but that something else was only engineering. No other profession was ever allowed in my family and for the record I am the only non-medico in the family. It is like a smile multiple choice question for everyone in my family.
Q) What do you wanna be ?

2) Doctor
3) Doctor
4) Engineer
5) Choose any one of the first three choices

After great fight I ended up being a techie and now I want to get into an MBA program just to start off my life as I wanted instead of sitting infront of a laptop coding all my life

). I am taking up knewton course and wanted to share my experience with them and also during the course wanted to share my GMAT prep experience to you all so that I can get some valuable tips from world renowned GMATClubbers. If I am successful then others will find my journey helpful, if I am not successful then others will know what not to do. so either ways I thought it will be helpful to others.
5) But the world is blaming MBA for the recession -
Actually I need to thank the recession that I thought of an MBA - I have multiple reasons for doing an MBA
1) Hate my techie job
2) Thanks to Obama who says he doesnt need any more Indian or Chinese in USA, as they are stealing all the american jobs.
3) My ever growing zeal to be a CEO one day
4) Time to get out of this corporate world and spend a year or two of some resourceful time in School
5) Do something good to the society
6) Do something good to the society? are you nuts ? The world says MBA grads from the top schools are the problem for the financial debacle.
It is like calling all the women whores because probably 0.0001% of the world women population are whores. Yes, agreed that all the financial mess is created by the guys who have graduated from the top schools but no school teaches their students to get the system down, its each individual's personal selfish, thirst for power and money which has made this possible. The same schools have produced some amazing administrators and have gone to become great CEO's of reputed organizations and become great leaders too.
