For verbal I used powerscore cr, manhattan sc, lsat rc and cr.

Hey joe, it would be great if you could explain how you managed to improve your Verbal Score.

You mentioned u used Powerscore CR. In all honesty, dont you find their explanation on Assumption to be far fetched. I went through it i was able to understand "Supporter" but applying the principles of "Defender" to actual problems sounds very complex, which they claim is very important to note i.e. the difference between supporter type questions and defender type q which other books dont cover.

Did u really followed all the steps given in Powerscore?

What do u mean by CR was fair, very similar to OG, do u mean to say the pattern of problems given is similar or the level of difficulty. I assume you were talking about the level of difficulty.

How many Assumption q did u roughly get in the exam?

Thanks.

Comming back to what you asked, in my personal opinion even the adcoms are human beings, not some iceland queen so they would be realistic and take the recent score into consideration.

For materials you can still take up a knewton class as they have extensive practice as claimed by some. You can also use OG Verbal Guide.
