Guys, I gave the gmat again today after my previous attempt 700(Q49,V38) one year back and after more than a month long arduous preparation but it bombed again 700(Q49, v34)
My target was to improve by at least 50 points and get into the 750 zone but that did not happen.
During the past one month I completed the following -
(a) OG 12
(b) Official Verbal review
(c) Manhattan SC guide
(d) Powerscore CR bible
Tests
(a)
MGMAT (All6) - 680,710,710,720,730,740
(b) GMATPrep - 730,740
(c) Knewton-Diagnostic - 730
(d) some 800score test
I realized that I was not performing best during the exam, had a choking feeling which started from the quant section and continued till verbal.
I have a 5 years of experience in consulting and an engineering background with below average GPA. I am targeting top 10 B-schools and was advised by a popular admission consultant to give GMAT again.
Given my result I am in a dilemma what to do next, also at this point I am a quite burnt out from GMAT prep and feeling quite helpless and down.
