Hi all,
Do you know if before the GMAT exam while I am waiting for a section to start, I can write and organize my scratch paper? (For example in the verbal section put ABCDE to avoid losing time during the exam) or is this forbidden? Thank you!

Hi. This answer actually varies depending on how and where you will take the test.

You can and should do this at the test center but you’re not allowed to write anything before the test begins if you take the test online.

PS. Since you’re saying organize the scratch paper, it seems you’re taking it at the test center and you absolutely will be able to create a grid and other things during the instructions.

You should also test the markers to make sure they write and they’re not dry.
