Hello folks,
I have a peculiar problem at hand and would need your guidance. I gave my GMAT today and scored 650 (Q49, V26).
My last 5 GMAT practice test results.
GMAT prep T2(Second time) - 710
GMAT prep T1 (Second time) - 710
Manhattan test from site - 680
Kaplan test from site - 680
GMAT prep T2 (First time) - 710
GMAT prep T1(first time) - 670
I have decided to give GMAT again and have booked the test for a date, 1 month from now..
I would be really glad if someone could point out, what should be my strategy for this 1 month to improve on my overall score to 700 and beyond...
Before todays test, I thought I had good grounding in basics of Verbal but was stumped in the initial few questions. So, totally confused about the preparation for this one month..
Any advice would highly valued..

Since you have just a month, I think you should focus your time on SC (60%), CR (25%) and RC(15%). In a short period of time, it's easiest to improve SC followed by CR and RC. With a score in the mid-30s you might be able to hit 7XX.

What materials do you have? You should focus on the verbal section, no doubt about it. As akaydee mentioned, spend a huge chunk of your time on SC as it's easiest to improve in a short amount of time. A good book for it is MGMAT SC. If you haven't, get the OGs. Work on as many SC questions as possible. I wouldn't pay much attention in Reading comprehension; I don't believe that a month time would change much in the RC section. With a Q49, you'll need roughly a V36 (+/- 1 raw point) to make it a 700. Best of luck!
