Hi,
I have been preparing for gmat for a month. I have done all the
Manhattan books once and then I have been practicing from different sources. I wouldnt say that I am totally prepared but I was expecting scores at least in the range of 600-650. As I see it, I lack practice in almost all the areas.
Here is what I got..
1)
26/jul - 530, (Q32, V31), (No AWA) - MGMAT Test - took this one casually. made some silly mistakes.
2)
31/jul - 540, (Q39, V25) (No AWA) - GMAT Prep I - Here I lost out on RC majorly
3)
05/aug - 470, (Q35, V20) (With AWA) - GMAT Prep II - This one was a total disaster. I spent too much time on couple of Math questions and then had some disturbance in Verbal because of which I had to read RC twice.
I have my test scheduled on the 13th Aug. I am not thinking of postponing it as it will at least give me an experience of taking the actual test. Also, I dont see any advantage of postponing the test except that I will save $200.
I am more or less certain that I would have to take it again as my target score is 700. I will be applying to schools in Round 2 as I wont be ready by Round 1.
My major issue is RC and CR (not that Math is good). With only a week left I would welcome any suggestions on what I should do to hit the maximum on this upcoming test.
Thx.
