Hello All,
I am new around here. I already have an EMBA admission and have also finsished my first 2 weeks of classes. Here is my situation:
I attend an EMBA program run by a trans-elite school here as there are no elite schools in my state. My problem is I feel I could have gotten into one of the elite schools (esp Chicago) but I was not aware of their Weekend option. Only after I enrolled in this program did I learn about their Weekend option. I am now being mentally torn on whether I did the right thing by starting to go for classes here or should I drop out and apply to Chicago although I will have to wait for the next fall to enroll in their Weekend program.
My company is sponsoring my MBA and I do plan to continue in my current career (as a consultant).
I would appreciate any advice ie should I drop off or just finish the EMBA, will it affect my career later and how much difference will it make doing an MBA from a trans-elite school vs an elite school. I am 34, with a 680 GMAT score (first-attempt a few months ago) and about 11 years experience in the IT/Consulting industry.
Please advise...thanks very much in advance.
