Unfortunately, there is no easy way to sugar-coat this: these applications take a long time to complete. Just one of the many essays can take serveral hours of work and there is really an upper limit to how many hours one can work on the essays each day before the quality suffers.

Are you planning to ladder your applications (ie apply to different schools in different rounds)?

I plan to apply to all 4 schools in the second round. I have looked brieftly through the essays but haven't seriously started writing them. I am actually planning to start outlining on the week of 21. So do you have any recommendations about my timeline?

If possible, start writing down short notes about each essay topic as they come to you during the day. That way you will have something to work with when you have more time to devote to the essays.
