I'm filling out an app and notice they ask for you to list the other schools you are applying to. Should I leave this blank? It says that they use it only for statistics and will not affect their decision...but still?

If you are not comfortable answering the question, I would leave it blank. The schools should know that there are better ways to ask this question than on an admissions application.
