Hey Hjort,
I am taking the real thing on Friday and wanted to run a few things by you.
I took the GMAT in Sept '05 and got a miserbal 410 Q29/V18. I started studying immediately. I've taken 5 Kaplan CATs
530 Q35/V25
580 Q37/V30
570 Q37/V28
560 Q34/V30
560 Q31/V35
GMATPrep Q37/V20 490
Q38/V23 510
Anyway I am looking over my
error log and redoing the problems to see what the problem was. The GMATPrep scores were pretty disheartening. The problem pretty much lied in the rc passages. For example I would the 1 & 2nd question right of the verbal questions, but let say the 3rd was CR question and I got it wrong, then I would get a rc passage and if 1/4 of those right, that would kill the score right away.
If there is any advice you could give me it would be most appreciated. I've applied to Fordhams MBA program, which doesn't require a hight GMAT score, but it would be nice to get for example a 600.
I am not swinging for the fences.
I look forward to hearing from you.
thx,
wiseguy
