I guess this is becoming an increasingly popular topic with many top B-schools encouraging such applicants.
I am one of them and intend to apply for Fall 2007. From whatever I have read, schools such as Stanford, Harvard etc. encourage such candidates.
I wanted to know what stand do the following schools take on this issue:
1. Michigan - Ross
2. Texas Austin
3. Yale
4. NYU-Sterm
5. UC-Berkeley
6. UIUC
Do they outrightly reject applicants with 2 or less years of work experience or do they actually admit at least a few of such candidates.
Please help!

How many years of experience do you have? I am asking because I too am thinking about applying as a "young" applicant.

im a young applicant too and would gladly share some information with you..
According to 2004 reports these are the stats for students accepted with no or low (<2) work ex
1. Michigan - Ross- 5/434
2. Texas Austin-0
3. Yale-2/215
4. NYU-Stern-0/364
5. UC-Berkeley-0/230
6. UIUC - ??
Anyways although they are 2004 stats i cant see them changing too much with the above schools.. maybe the likes of H/S/W/K will pull away because of their recruitment power but none of the others..
