I'm always up for hearing more opinions on a given school. I have heard such divergent opinions of Thunderbird that it is sometimes difficult to believe that commentators are talking about the same school.

Hello Hjort:

I am also confused.

I have read many reviews about Thunderbird, and a lot of postings, but opinions vary so much!.

as of today, i am more inclined for ND, basically because of their Undergrad ranking, I believe the school is going on the upward trend.

on the other hand, Tbird seems to be going in a downtrend.

ND is ranked number 3rd. nation wide for undegrad business education. With Wharton on top of the list, I expect ND to improve its ranking positioning in the years to come.

what is the opinion of Gmatclub members?

I'm not sure how much this has to do with an upward or downward trend of either school but I see your point. Thunderbird has long been a specialty institution- international business was its one real strength. University of Notre Dame is a strong institution in many, many ways. As an overall undergraduate institution it is roughly on the same level as Johns Hopkins and Cornell. In the long run I would expect Notre Dame to "win."
