Hi
I would appreciate your comments on my chances visa viz a top 10 business school based on teh following:
I am from South Africa but spent a lot of time in Pakistan;
I have a B.Comm from the University of Cape Town and an an MBA from a business school in Pakistan (GPA 3.33);
Before university I worked for 2 years with a Motorola cellular network in Pakistan;
Post MBA I worked for a Merrill Lynch affiliate in Pakistan for 2 years followed by 1 year at a bank in Dubai, UAE in Investment Banking;
I am applying for the term beginning next year, by which time I will be 32;
I am targeting 700+ on the GMAT;
I have a number of sports related extracuricular activities during university and I taught parttime at a university level post MBA;
I would like to apply to a top notch business school in the States, because I do not believe I have gained significantly my first MBA in Pakistan.
I would appreciate any comments you have.

You seem to have a fairly competitve profile unfortunately many b-schools do not accept students with MBA degrees..Hjort will be able to help you out more with this issue..

However, at the risk of putting you on the spot, given what I have told you, how much of an impact do you think my already having an MBA will have on my chances for admission to schools that are willing to consider such applications?
At the moment, I am hoping to apply to Harvard, Chicago, Columbia, NYU and Wharton. As such, I would appreciate any comments you may have regarding my choice of schools.
