Hello everybody,
I had my MBA at a French B-School right after college, without any work experience. My grades are very good.
Now, after 4 years of work experience mainly in finance (BNP Paribas), I wonder if I stand a good chance in getting an admission to a top 10 american MBA. (GMAT score: 720, TOEFL Score: 290)
Thank you for your response,
The best thing to do is contact the indvidual schools and ask about your situation. As you already know, students with MBAs are still eligible at many US schools.
How hard is it to convince the admissions officers? and would the most reputed b-schools consider my application? I mean, do I still have a good chance?
I have to say that my work experience is a significant plus, especially that it took place in many countries.
I think you still have a chance considering that you had strong grades and now have substantial work experience and that your MBA was from a school outside the US. Thus, you can point to a number of factors that will make your second MBA quite different from your first.
