I think this does make sense if one considers that Texas is a large, transelite business school. Perhaps of greater importance is that there are no schools of equal or greater stature for several states in any direction.
It is interesting (but not necessarily all that important) which ultra elite and elite cluster schools do not appear on this list: MIT, UC Berkeley, UCLA, Cornell, Duke, Michigan, and Yale.
