Hjort,

Both of my recommendors are too busy. I will be asking too much if I ask them to submit seperate LORs for each school to which I am applying. My question is:

How wise it is to submit same LOR for each school that I am applying to?

Sorry to intrude but I think that will be complicated since all schools have different questions. Like Kellogg's questions to recommenders' are very elaborate compared to questions of other schools.

One of my bosses (manager) is of this kind, very busy & careless in writing recos. I kicked him & requested my immediate leads (also my supervisors) for recos & they agreed.

Realistically, it is sometimes necessary to use a "universal" LOR as Paul describes. I consider the use of universal letters a case of secondbest but better than nothing.
