Hello HJort,
Thanks in advance for your help. I have a GMAT question, yes you guessed it
I scored 700, which i am proud of. I think its a competitive score that puts me in ballpark of top 10 universities. The break up however concerns me a little - Q45 (78-percentile) and V40 (90-percentile). It's a general perception that top 10 schools like at least 80-percentile on both sections. Does a 78 on Q work against me or is it not a big enough deal. I have BS and MS in Civil Engineering. Undergrad - 72%, graduate gpa - 3.8
Took four math classes during undergrad and scored C, A, A, and B grades. I have 5-6 years of experience. I can write strong essays and will get decent recos. Is it worth trying to increase my Q score. I know i can do it but not sure if a 730 with a greater than 80-percentile on Q helps me over my existing 700. Any help will be greatly apprciated. Thanks.
