Nothin to discourage you, but just consider taking a break from your studies and get some more time into deciding what you want out of your life and career.. and btw, even ifyou can improve on your gmat by a 100-150 points in sumtm.. its worth it.. atleast if oyu decide strongly about an mba.. you can take a good shot at some decent schools, rather than just completing an MBA at some ABC school of business..

I'd urge you to get some work experience first. Honestly, you wont know if you want an MBA until you do.

Rhyme, very glad u replied man.. infact for all you guys who replied...
well im considering to work for some 6 months and put it on my profile coupled with a better gmat if i take it... I have kinda started losing my intrest in studies and its my dream to get myself an MBA.. So, i am planning to do it next year and then switch tracks in my life.. i m not kinda person who will work for say 8-9 years or maybe 2-3 yrs and then think bout an mba... I see many people on forum doing exacly that but then they also have a GPA like 3.98 etc etc and a GMAT like 700+... thats somethin i cant even imagine doing after i turn 25!!!

My Personal experience is that GMAT has no correlation with average accademics, bad GPA and stuff

Its purely a function of practice and startegy with no reflection on the person's true ability (my opinion).

There have been impressive cases in this forum itself where people have taken their scores from 400s to 700+.

I would suggest refelect back on ur test experiences, see you weak points and improve on them.

I think with 6 months of dedicated effort one can crack 700+ in GMAT

All the best in your efforts
