There are many benefits to timing your practice, including:
One question asked during interview to a candidate from IT background
" What are the current trends in IT?"
What does it mean by 'current trend'? What would be trend in any industry?
Is oursourcing a trend in IT? Can I talk about IT industry in India in particular (I am an Indian)
Should I talk about how this industry changed over the time?
Plz help me in understanding what the interviewer is expecting as an answer of this question.
People generally use "current trends" to refer to the major direction that the industry is headed in the near future. If you are most familar with IT trends in India, that sounds like a logical choice for this question. Outsourcing is a pretty large topic so if you choose to discuss it I would consider looking at a a relatively small portion of it. Talking about how the industry has changed over time could be useful if you are making an analogy between current trends and previous trends to illustrate some point.
