Hi,
I am 27 year old Indian, female, IT Consultant looking forward to applying for MBA to the ultra elites this year (I am begining to wonder if it is wishful thinking after all). I have a 770 in GMAT, 3.4 CGPA and around 5 years of work experience working for Intel and IBM. The question is if this is another repetitive profile or is there something that could make it stand out from the crowd

While demographics clearly is not everything in MBA applications, the pool of female candidates with your background is considerably smaller than the pool of male candidates with a similar background. While gender per se is not particularly important in the admissions process, how someone has overcome the barriers that often exist for women in technical careers provides valuable insight into that person's dedication and resourcefulness.
