Hello Hjort,
I have a question in my mind for several months, and I would like to know your opinion about it.
My question is regarding the professional background, taking into account that my goal for the MBA is to get a job as project manager (What I'd like to do is to manage industrial project, in aeronautical sector, etc.).
Nowadays, I'm working for an European bank (it’s in the top 5), in its treasury; although I'm not trader nor sales, I work very close to them, and sometimes I help them.
However, I've got the chance to move to a company from the aeronautical sector, as system designer.
My questions are:
• Does working for a bank have better appreciation than working for an industrial company? Maybe, If I work for a bank, I’d have better score in the review with the BS.
• If my goal is to get a job as industrial project manager, is working for an industrial company better? Because, if it is my goal…

If you know what your goal is and you have an opportunity to work in that area, go for it. Once you're there, talk to people in that company about options for an MBA. Many companys offer incentives to get your MBA and some even pay for it. If you got an MBA from an UE/E and went to aeronautical industry, you certainly wouldn't have much competition from those schools for the job you wanted. An MBA is a unique degree in that it is not required. It's not like a medical or law degree. You can still get the job you want, but it might be a different path that gets you to that job. Contact a company that you're interested in working for like McDonnel-Dougles, Boeing, Raytheon, etc and ask them.
My advice is not to waste your time in a banking job if you don't want to do it. Go for what you want and worry about the education second. Especially if it's a job that doesn't absolutely require a top MBA program.

Let me told that I already have one year experience in the aeronautical sector. And I’m afraid that changing my job so often can jeopardize my get-in process.
