I think in the question it should be x is a positive integer and not positive number because if you take x as a positive number then x can be 0.1 also and x^2 will be 0.01 and in that case value of the expression given will lean towards -15 and its will becomes tends to -15 so it will be -15.

What is the least possible value of x^2-15 where x is a positive number.
A)-15

Solution:

[Note: We will assume that “positive number” means “positive integer.”]

The least possible value of x^2 - 15 where x is a positive integer occurs when x is the least positive integer, i.e., x = 1. Therefore, the least possible value is 1^2 - 15 = 1 - 15 = -14.

Answer: B
